SPAW Editor is a web based WYSIWYG editor control enabling web site developers to replace a standard textarea html control with full-featured, fully customizable, multilanguage, skinable web based WYSIWYG editor.

а я как замену textarea использовал штучку попроще(без php и т.п.). кажется это былhtmlArea v2.03.
единственное что мне в таких вещях не нравится, так это поддержка броузеров ну и может генерируемый html код.
я ставил такую игрушку в административный модуль одного сайта, так не у всех InternetExplorer от 5.5 и при первом показе пользователь увидел голый textarea с непонятным html кодом.

А наличие IE5.5+ можно затребовать, в принципе. Кстати, он же на 95 винд ставится?

насчет кода после любых изменений он всё равно преобразуется в стандартный. при этом чистятся например <style></style>, но class= остаются. но это наверно я придераюсь, можно через style='' делать. да и не для тех целей такое.
